Board-Certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist
More than 20 years of experience caring for women on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Dr. Kyan is a graduate of New York Medical College and trained at Staten Island University Hospital. He attends deliveries and performs gynecologic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and is a member of the Society of OBGYN Hospitalists. Dr. Kyan sees patients in English, Burmese, and Cantonese.
Board-Certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist
Known for his thorough, patient-centered approach and exceptional bedside manner. Dr. Plakogiannis completed a seven-year BS/MD program at Sophie Davis and NYU School of Medicine, and trained at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and received the 2008 Teacher of the Year award at Lenox Hill Hospital.
Board-Certified OB/GYN — Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery
Expert in advanced laparoscopic and robotic gynecologic surgery. A graduate of New York Medical College, Dr. Karamitsos trained at Montefiore Medical Center, where he received an award for Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures. He currently serves as Director of Ambulatory Care for OB/GYN at Lenox Hill Hospital and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He speaks English and Greek.
Board-Certified OB/GYN — Gynecologic Oncology Trained
More than 25 years of experience and fellowship training in gynecologic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the University of Michigan Health System. Dr. Huang completed an accelerated BS/MD program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College, and her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore. She brings a rare combination of subspecialty depth and compassionate, personalized women's health care.
