Dr. Kok-min Kyan is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with more than 20 years of experience, known for the calm, meticulous care he brings to every stage of his patients' lives.
Dr. Kyan earned his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from The City College of New York and his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, graduating in 1993. He completed his postgraduate training at Staten Island University Hospital, where he developed his foundation in obstetrics and gynecology.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Kyan provides comprehensive women's health care — from routine gynecologic visits and prenatal care through labor, delivery, and surgical management. He attends deliveries and performs gynecologic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, one of Manhattan's most trusted teaching hospitals.
As a member of the Society of OBGYN Hospitalists, an organization dedicated to improving outcomes for hospitalized women, Dr. Kyan brings an added layer of expertise to inpatient care and obstetric emergencies.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kyan has supervised the work of OBGYN residents, sharing the clinical judgment and technical skill he has refined over nearly three decades of practice.
